Steps Beach Castaway

There's a staircase at Steps Beach that leads down through the dunes to the water, and every time we climb it, it feels like the start of something wonderful. This photograph follows those weathered wooden steps down toward the sea — soft sand tones, dune grass greens, and that endless Nantucket sky. We love it in an entryway (what a welcome home!) or a bedroom, where it feels like waking up on vacation. The 12×18 is a sweet spot for most walls; go 20×30 above a bed or a sofa for full coastal-daydream effect.
