Framing
Every framed print is made to order and arrives ready to hang. You choose the size and the finish; the mat and museum glass are always included. If you’d rather frame it yourself, order print-only — it arrives ready for your own framer.
The three finishes
Black
Clean and bold. Black gives a photograph contrast and edge, and it is the natural choice for black-and-white prints, darker walls, and modern rooms.
White
Light and seamless. White disappears into light walls and bright rooms, so the photograph itself takes over. A good choice for coastal rooms and airy spaces.
Natural
Warm and organic. Natural brings warmth to a print and sits beautifully in rooms that already have wood in them – cottage rooms, coastal houses, and anywhere the light is golden.
If you are hanging a group of prints together, mixing finishes can work well — one black frame among white ones, for example, adds interest without breaking the feeling of the wall.
The frame, mat, and glass
Frames are hand-finished in black, white, and natural, in the Hamburg 20 mm frame profile.
Every framed print includes a natural-white museum-card mat, 2 inches on all four sides, and anti-reflective museum glass. The print itself is an archival Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 pigment print.
Sizes
All sizes listed on the website refer to the photograph (image) dimensions, not the total exterior dimensions of the framed product.

These dimensions include the photograph and mat but exclude the additional width of the frame moulding, so the finished exterior is slightly larger. The mockups on each product page show each size framed in a room, which is the truest sense of scale.
